Hannah & Nathan ~ engagement photos

I don’t even know where to begin with this session. We had so many laughs. I’ve known Hannah forever it seems, they have gone to church with us since Hannah was a baby, she worked with me her senior year, I did her senior photographs, now I get to do her engagements and bridals. We battled lots and lots of mosquitos, I think I took most of them out the photos, but there may be a stray lingering around. I love the personality in these photos, they can try hard but they can not be serious, and I loved capturing it all. Although a few were out of focus because I was laughing at them doing their best to be serious….it just wasn’t happening!

And I’m on a mission to find some “waves”, as Hannah called it, like on the old building down below that was at Hannah’s grandparents house. I’m about to make myself a wall, I loved how it photographed.

Here’s a few from another recent senior that I photographed. After fighting mosquitos and really wet ground we got some great shots.

Heidi ~ Lacassine High Senior

March 27th, 2012

What fun session this was! I was so excited when Heidi’s mom called to book her senior portraits. I knew they would be great, I’ve worked with Heidi at Lacassine the past few years when I photographed the homecoming court. We had to reschedule because of rain and then reschedule again because the date we […]

I knew they would be great, I’ve worked with Heidi at Lacassine the past few years when I photographed the homecoming court. We had to reschedule because of rain and then reschedule again because the date we moved her session to, we were expecting about 6-10 inches of rain. So we were able to get the session in before the rain, but we had a good deal of wind to deal with. But it works with her long hair, it looked like we had fans blowing on her!

We have had to reschedule many times because of the weather for this little guy. The mosquitos were out but not too bad the day we did his session. I’m so glad we were finally able to get BJ’s photos taken! Little man was such a happy laid back baby, he made my job super […]

Taylor ~ Kinder High Senior

March 12th, 2012

Taylor is a senior at Kinder High this year. We had to fight the sogginess and mosquitos to do his session. I had to remove so many mosquitos out of the images, we could feel them buzzing and biting us the whole time. It’s time for it to dry up!! We ended at the football […]

We ended at the football field where Taylor spent a lot of his time during high school. I had a great time working with you guys, hope you enjoy….

Dallas ~ Newborn photography

March 7th, 2012

This beautiful little boy was the most alert newborn I have ever photographed. Coming to me at only a week old, I thought he is going to be knocked out from the get go and I can do what ever I want with him. He proved me wrong!! But once I did get him to […]

This beautiful little boy was the most alert newborn I have ever photographed. Coming to me at only a week old, I thought he is going to be knocked out from the get go and I can do what ever I want with him. He proved me wrong!! But once I did get him to sleep after all my “tricks” he did let me do as I pleased. Can’t wait until I get to meet his brother and sisters.

Look at that little back, can’t wait until those rolls are all filled out…

Loved the detail in his hands.

Had so much fun doing Kyle’s senior photos. I just can’t believe he’s actually a senior in high school! He kept us quite entertained the whole afternoon, every time I put the camera down to talk to him or his mom he was major cheesing it up and being goofy. I kept telling him if […]

Bently & Bradley ~ Newborn Photography

February 24th, 2012

I loved working with these two beautiful little boys. They were by far the tiniest newborns I have ever photographed. They didn’t like when I tried to take the blankets off, so I just kept them swaddled in all of their photos. Major photo overload below!

Can’t believe it’s been a year already. Seems like it was just yesterday I was doing his newborn photos. I love watching these babies grow up. And this little man likes to do his new things when he is here with me. For his last session he sat up the longest at one time when he was here, and for this session he decided to full blown crawl instead of his army crawl he usually does. So I look forward to the next one, I’m sure he will be running!
