This beautiful little boy was the most alert newborn I have ever photographed. Coming to me at only a week old, I thought he is going to be knocked out from the get go and I can do what ever I want with him. He proved me wrong!! But once I did get him to sleep after all my “tricks” he did let me do as I pleased. Can’t wait until I get to meet his brother and sisters.

Look at that little back, can’t wait until those rolls are all filled out…

Here’s another sweet girl I met last week. She’s a little older than the typical newborns I photograph. She was already a month old. The biggest difference is this age babies don’t sleep as sound. Any little movements wake them, but we just worked around that and got some wide eyed shots too!

I know this blog has been pretty dead lately. I’ve had a few sessions that I couldn’t blog, and then just some product photography, that I’m sure won’t interest most! January is always a fairly slow month, so I recently sent in my camera and lenses into canon professional services for their yearly cleaning. They are back and good to go….still patiently waiting on canon to announce an upgrade to my camera so I can get another!

I shouldn’t even be looking at these photos just yet. I need to be editing the basketball team’s photos that I did early this week. But I just couldn’t help myself. Look at this little beauty. I had to take a peek at some of her photos, then I just had to edit a few…well a little more than a few. She was just beautiful and quite cooperative!

Mr. Avery was my last session of the year, and it was such a good one. He was so perfect and slept right through everything. There’s nothing I love more than working with these beautiful little babies.

I had the opportunity to meet another beautiful baby girl. I absolutely love working with these tiny little babies. They change and grow so fast, I love being able to document this time for these families. Before they know it she will be almost a teenager like my oldest daughter is. It’s crazy how fast time flies by.

Here’s another sweet baby girl I got to meet last week. I just adore working with these little babies. I really think I could specialize in just newborns and be completely happy, I love working with them. But then I also love watching them grow throughout the years. She was so tiny and slept so well.
