~Strong~describes this family so much. They truly are an inspiration to me, they have been given a lot to deal with and handle it all so well. I need to take lessons. I squeezed them in right before we left to go on vacation. Jeramy has battled Crohn’s for many years of his life, the same disease that I got so sick with in May that took me out of business for a good two months, and just found out he now has liver cancer. His story just hit way too close to home. He was leaving almost immediately to go to Texas to start treatment and we were leaving to go on vacation out of state. And the weather had been just horrible that week. We found one morning that the sun was shining and it was beautiful, but very wet. We got his session taken care of and he left and took off to Texas to get prepared to start chemotherapy treatments. I just spoke with his mom and he is doing really really well. He is handling the treatments and not getting sick, that makes me so happy to hear!

Here are a few of Jeramy’s senior portraits!

Ok the holidays are past us, I’ve got a little break before the madness of high school seniors start!! Here’s a few of the sessions that I didn’t have time to blog before Christmas and my trip to the mountains to go skiing.

Love this little family

November 17th, 2009

I love watching my clients families grow from year to year. I’ve seen so much change in these two. Miss priss went from being so shy she would barely speak to me, the first time they came to me years ago, to posing it up big time the whole time she was here. And I […]

And I got an education on all of the coolest toys for little boys from her brother.

November 12th, 2009

I’m so excited, it’s time to get started with high school seniors again!! I really enjoy these sessions and I realized just how much I missed them when I did this one. This is my first 2010 senior to photograph this year and she was beautiful! I warned them that they would be fussing at […]

This is my first 2010 senior to photograph this year and she was beautiful! I warned them that they would be fussing at me when we were doing her session, there will be some tough decisions once the choosing begins. It shouldn’t be to much longer and you can see them all.

rain rain go away

November 9th, 2009

After two reschedules we were finally able to get this session in with no rain! It was super wet though because we had days of rain before so we just worked around the water. These little personalities were just adorable. I hope it was worth the drive for you guys!! Just a warning…lots more to […]

One week and one year old

September 2nd, 2009

Sisters! Mom really hoped we would get some of them together, but big sis wasn’t having any of that. She wanted to do her own thing. She played and would come back in the room every now and then to check on me and see what I was doing with her baby sister. Here’s two […]

Sweet baby boy

September 1st, 2009

I’ve been photographing this little man since he was born. I hadn’t seen him in a quite a few months, I couldn’t believe how big he has gotten. I love the colors, I’m not ready for it to get cold and brown just yet, I’m going to miss the green.

Little man

August 27th, 2009

This is my good friends sweet little man. When they got here he was giving up the smiles left and right, as soon as we get outside and start he decided not to let me see them and turn into Mr. Serious. But that’s okay I still got some! And as soon as I put […]

Those eyes, those eyes

August 5th, 2009

Are just amazing! I say this every time I see her. Miss Priss is 8 months old now, I’ve been photographing her since she was only two weeks old. When we do her one year pictures I’ll have to post one from each session to compare how much she has grown.

Beee-u-ti-ful!

July 27th, 2009

This is the only way to describe this family! I got way way way carried away, as you can see with the massive blog post. I could have easily kept these kiddos here with me, we played and played. The little girl would have stayed I think, but you should have seen the look her […]

The little girl would have stayed I think, but you should have seen the look her brother gave me when I told him I thought I would keep him here with me!

He was convinced this mushroom was from Ratatouille…
