Check out the eyes on these two! They are so pretty.

Busy next couple weeks coming up….I photographed the dance studio in Welsh the other day and next week I have two days to photograph for them here in Kinder. And lots of end of the year things going on with my girls at school, and softball. So I’m trying to get everyone’s pictures finished up as soon as possible, bear with me!! I’ll get them as soon as I can….it’s time for vacation! And now the threat of the oil in the gulf. I’m going to be sad if the beach front home I have rented in June is covered with oily sand instead of sugar white sand.

Here’s a little update on the summer months. June only has a few spots left available. I’m planning on taking it very slow, only two sessions a week until my girls are back into school. So if you know you want an appointment contact me and let me know. I didn’t get to enjoy the summer last year with them like I planned because I got so sick, but I’m hoping to make up for that this summer.

Ok enough rambling, here’s the adorable little family from a couple weeks ago….

One anxious photographer! All of that aside I think they turned out pretty well. This is a little out of my norm, I had to think outside the box for these. I typically like to fill the frame with my subjects but when you are photographing an animal as big as a horse you can’t really do that. This is an amazing family that I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with over the last couple years. Christian I hope these are somewhat what you had in mind!

All of that also equals one really really big blog post!

I had to go dig on an old external to find them “then”, back in 2005 was the first year I photographed them, to compare it to “now”. These two sure make me smile! We had such a good time.

Holly brace yourself…I got all teary eyed looking through the images of my girls on the external to find this one of the boys.

Is this not a miracle or what? I feel so lucky and blessed that brand new families invite me to share in this amazing part of their lives. I love being able to capture this special time for them. This sweet little baby girl was just amazing. She slept and slept and then slept some more, so needless to say I really had my way with her. I moved her and positioned her just how I wanted until I couldn’t think of anything else to do.  I also captured I think is what my most favorite newborn image I have ever taken at this session.

Here it is….I LOVE how her little fingers are wrapped around her daddy’s.

These two kept me on my toes the whole time, I think I need to get in shape so I can chase after all these kids. When the session was over we had to trick the youngest and catch him so they could leave. He was wanting to stay with me. I told him I had lots and lots of baby dolls he could play with if he stayed with me….he didn’t think that was such a good idea.

I’ve had quite a few emails come in about booking high school senior sessions. Over the Christmas holiday, I had no email for about 3 days, something happened with centurytel’s servers. I have not received any of those emails still, so if you sent me an email inquiring about a session and I never replied, it’s because I did not receive it. Either resend or give me a call. It’s booking up quite fast. Also if I emailed you dates available and you have replied as to which date you would like to book and you have not received a confirmation email from me saying I have it down, then please give me a call. I will always send an email letting you know that I have it confirmed.
